The Building Talks Podcast

A fortnightly podcast where we meet and talk to professionals in the Construction, Property Development, Engineering, Architecture and Consulting sectors across Australia's Built Environment. During our building talks, we discuss topics and issues faced across the industry and specialist sectors within it, discuss the careers and experiences of guests, whilst getting to know the people behind the projects, and the construction and development projects they have been a part of.

Our guests span the built environment - so includes leaders from architects, engineers, builders, consulting Project Managers or Quantity surveyors, industry researchers, HR and business experts - all people 'in the know' who work within the build environment and have some insights and deep understanding of the industry.

Construction & Property Recruiter by day, podcaster by night (well sometimes) Martin has been working within the Built Environment recruitment sector for around 20 years. In that time, met with and interviewed thousands of people from all works of life, within these related industries, and built a large network across Australia.

So, in 2020, when he set up his recruitment business it coincided with the Covid lockdowns - so with some extra spare time up his sleeve, and an avid podcast listener who enjoys debate (heated or otherwise) - he set up The Building Talks Podcast!

Having recorded over 50 hours of insightful conversations from within these markets, he hopes to provide his followers and listeners with some 'quite interesting' insights on the hot topics within the built environment markets of Australia.
